A CoViRR Training event occurred over a 4-day period which presented many topics including VR in healthcare, MR in Medical Education, Technical guidelines, and sessions from other projects. This training event trained stu­dents on clinical skills by the use of Virtual Reality Reusable e-re­sources. By the end of this training participants were able to:

Identify the difference between direct learning and immersive learning based on cases, understand what a Virtual Real­ity reusable e-resource is, demonstrate how to download and use a Virtual Reality reusable e-resource, Appreciate the use of virtual re­ality reusable e-resources within clinical skills overall, and exploit innovative pedagogy through Virtual Reality reusable e-resources and spread the word to other students and academic.

Many excellent ideas were generated, and this information was taken forward in the developments and outputs of CoViRR.
